Awkward Moment Damon|Tyler

I just came out of Walmart, buying some Tru Blood for Elena. She wanted the O Negative, which actually still tastes like crap because it's synthetic blood. Suddenly I saw an all-too-familiar face. It was Tyler Lockwood, the Hybrid in front of me. I sighed and said, "What are you doing here?" I said, trying to be polite as much as possible, even though I had distaste in my words.

My day was going great until I saw him. "Nice to see you too, Salvatore." I smirked. I could tell Damon was trying to be nice but honestly I didn't care what he thought of me. And I really didn't want to run into him today.

"The pleasure is not mine," I said, smirking back. I said, sighing. "I came to get some Tru Blood for Elena," I said, biting my lip. Matt better not even dare try to go to Elena, or I'll kill him, I thought angrily.

"Elena drinks Tru Blood? Eww why?" I asked. I've tried the stuff once and I hated it, and with Elena you would think she would try blood bags or hunting like Stefan and Caroline.

I looked at Tyler and said, "Because she doesn't want go out in public until she is ready to withstand her impulses," I said, pulling out my Cell phone that was ringing. I got a text message from Pam, saying,


Where the FUCK are you? You were supposed to be at Fangs and Games 3 hours ago, so get your Vamp ass over here, or I'll hunt you down, and rip you up into confetti.

I sighed as I read the text. I guess I'll come in late, I thought, putting the phone back in my coat pocket. "Elena said that she wants to see you and the others," I said, looking at Tyler. "If you want to come by and see Elena, then feel free ... I guess."

"I'm gonna wait till she has the emotion thing calmed down first. I'm not a big fan of dealing with it." I told him. Caroline had told me that vampires go through alot when their newborn and I just didn't want to deal with it.

I sighed and said, "Okay. I just thought I should let you know," I said, opening a thing of Tru Blood just to gross out Tyler for the Hell of it. I took a swig, even though it tasted awful. I hid the distaste on my face and said, "How's Caroline? I haven't seen her since we packed and moved here."

"Okay first off, when are you this nice? Second, dude that is seriously nasty." I told him pointing to the bottle. No sane vampire or Hybrid would drink that. "And no I haven't spoken to Caroline. Not that you care." I said. Damon wasn't being his usual dickheaded self, something was wrong with the universe.

I set the bottle and the case of Tru Blood down without a word, then swiftly dashed in front of Tyler, grabbing him up by the neck and lifting him into the air. I bared my fangs, snarling at him, and said, "Okay, listen to me, and listen to me very carefully , because I don't like repeating myself. Why I'm being nice is because I am a Vampire Sheriff of Crystal Waters, so I have to even though I don't really want to. Mainstreaming is a serious thing now, and I don't want to screw things up for Elena, and actually, you're right - I don't care." I said smirking brightly, then throwing Tyler at the wall and said, "I would say 'see you later', but like you said - I don't care!" I said, grabbing the Tru Blood, and dashing off into the night.

When I picked myself up off the ground I spit out some blood that made its way into my mouth but I could feel the healing process. "Dick." I said to Damon's retreating figure. Next time i bite him I won't be sorry.
