Etc. History | After becoming pregnant and having her child taken away from her, Katherine, originally known as Katerina Petrova, was banished from her home country, Bulgaria, to England, where she met Trevor, who introduced her to Elijah, who introduced her to his younger brother, Klaus.
At first, she was attracted to Klaus. But then she found out what he was what he wanted with her. She was supposed to become a sacrifice in a ritual. With Trevor’s help, she managed to escape. He led her to a cottage, where she met a woman by the name of Rose. However, Rose didn’t want to help her escape. She wanted to bring Katherine back to Klaus.
Her first suicide attempt didn’t work out, as she was fed vampire blood to help her heal. However, that wasn’t enough to make her stop trying. She hung herself and woke up as a vampire.

However, when people do that to her, they can expect vengeance, if if there’s something Katherine is good at, it’s getting her vengeance. She can patient if she needs to, and she will always plan things very meticulously so that nothing goes wrong. If something does go wrong, though, she always has a plan B.
There is another side to Katherine, though. Her humanity is still with her, though she never lets it show, and every once in a while she does something that shows that, though no one can tell just by talking to her, she can still care.

Overall history | After she was turned, Katherine went back to Bulgaria to find that her whole family had been killed. She gathered that it was Klaus’ way of getting revenge. Her hatred for Klaus began to grow.
Later on, in 1864, she travelled to the small town of Mystic Falls, where she was taken in by Giuseppe Salvatore. She quickly took a liking to his sons, Stefan and Damon, and she began to date the two of them. The first one that she flirted with was Stefan. Sweet Stefan, as she called him. Then came Damon, returning from the war. He was easier to seduce, and she actually slept with him before she slept with Stefan.
When the humans of Mystic Falls began to get suspicious of the presence of vampires, Katherine decided not to heed Pearl’s warnings and stay. She’d taken a liking to that small town, and she had no intention of leaving until she absolutely had to. It was only a matter of time before her true nature was uncovered, but she had an escape plan, was that was almost ruined by Stefan and Damon trying to rescue her. She’d struck a deal with George Lockwood that she would give him the moonstone if he would help her escape. As a result, she was saved from the fire and from being imprisoned in the tomb.
Many years later, she returned to Mystic Falls. During her stay there, she posed as Elena several times, toyed with the Salvatores with or without them knowing who she was, and even got trapped into the tomb where the other vampires that weren’t saved in 1864 stayed for over a century. Her main goal? To keep Klaus away from her. Inevitably, he learned that she was still alive, and she needed to keep him away.' O u t o f C h a r a c t e r RP Sample - Quote :

The cold night's air blew softly against Damon's skin, but he didn't mind it. That day was the sixth anniversary of his realization that he had to feed, that the hunger was too strong for him to just allow himself to starve to death. He didn't know why, but it felt like an important day to him.
His brother had saved him from a terrible half-life, but he didn't approve of his new diet. Stefan was all for animal blood. Not that he actually managed to always follow his own diet. The cravings were too strong, Damon guessed. His brother had fallen in and off the wagon several times. At that moment, he was off it.
Somehow, when Stefan was going through his Ripper periods, Damon felt as though he wasn't so bad, he wasn't as much of a monster as he made himself feel like. Not only that as he felt as though he had to help his little brother. Sometimes he even tried, in his own strange ways that no one would have guessed what he was trying to accomplish.
But that night he wasn't going to do anything about Stefan. It was too much of a sentimental night for him to do it. He still got angry at his brother when he thought about what he had made him go through, even if not directly and even if he could never had guessed what was going to happen. It just angered him.
Sitting down on the grass, Damon just stared at the faraway city, its weak lights only visible to vampire eyes, and sighed. The next day he would take care of Stefan.
