He traveled the world, feeding like he normally does, but he doesn't kill his "Food", seeing that they don't deserve to die. In 1915, he met Pam at a Bar, socializing with her. They became good friends for awhile, until he saw the real side of her. He didn't want to continue being her friend. He moved on and met Nan Flannigan in 1956. They shared the same feelings for Humans, and he became her assistant, helping with the Making of Tru Blood - the synthetic Blood for Vampires. He was one of the first Vampires to test it once it was complete, and notified Nan that it was a success. He moved to Crystal Waters, asking the new Guardian to move there with his permission, hoping he'd break free of his right as Federal Chairman of the new Vampire Council, but Elijah continued to let him be Chairman, even though he still let him move to Crystal Waters.
Royce, a Vampire who is Evon's Doppleganger, pops up in Crystal Waters, and reveals something to Evon. He works for Russel Edgington. The history of Evon and Royce date back to 1867. Royce was human at the time, and they became friends - brothers more or less. They became great friends until Royce became a Vampire himself. Royce's Maker is unknown.'
